Back To Bliss Day will be a series of mediation, Baptiste & Kundalini yoga, personalized mala making, and learning the benefits of plant oils for yoga practice.
Baptiste yoga is an intentional, fast paced style of yoga that was created to leave you empowered on and off your mat. The way this is done is by 5 pillars that Baron created for this practice. The 5 pillars are: Drishti (Gaze), Ujjayi (Breath), Bandhas (Core Stability), Tapas (Heat) and Vinyasa (Flow).
Kundalini is a style of yoga that helps us access our peak potential of power. This style of yoga blends meditation, yoga poses, chanting, hand positions, and visualization together to unlock pathways of energy to help us feel empowered and reach bliss. We will also explore chakras, which are focal points of energy within our nervous system to explore the mind, body, & spirit.
We will be starting on time and encourage you to bring a journal or notebook to write down any thoughts, inspirations, or notes that come to you during the retreat.

9:00-9:25am - Coffee/Meet & Greet
9:30-9:40am - Meditation
9:45-10:00am - Introductions
10:15-11:15am - Baptiste Power Flow
11:30am-12:00pm - Snack/break
12:00-1:00pm - Plant education & meditation
1:00-2:00pm - Lunch - Provided by The Bliss Kitchen. Any known food allergies MUST be notified by September 20th.
2:30-4:00pm - Mala making workshop - All mala will be personal to YOU. Please call Felicia to have a conversation on what intention(s) you want from your mala.
4:00-5:15pm - Kundalini Flow
5:30-6:00pm - End of the retreat/group sharing
You are encouraged to join us afterward for drinks at Kinfolks Bar with live music provided by Rob & the Mountain City Rebels.
About your facilitators:
Felicia Hug is a health and wellness consultant, personal trainer, and Level 1 certified Baptiste yoga instructor. She will be guiding you through a Baptiste yoga practice and mala making workshop. You will learn the history of the mala, its intention, and how you can manifest the most out of your own mala creation. Felicia is committed to people living their best life through building a strong practice and developing lasting habits.

Shannon Flaherty is a practitioner in holistic healing, community health educator, and yoga instructor of 9 years. Her mission has always been to explore & find the top techniques that help optimize our mind, body, & spirit Her practices & teachings incorporate techniques from Kundalini yoga, qigong, access bars, etc.
