Parade starts at noon, followed by 70 teams racing coffins down Manitou Avenue for the ultimate victory! A beer garden and music entertainment in Soda Springs Park following the races. Dress up in your best costume to fit right in!

About the event
EMMA! Manitou Spring's 24th annual coffin race & festival, honoring Emma Crawford (who was buried up the montain, but some 40 years later, her casket came sliding down the hillside, after a harsh winter and thaw, so for the past 20+ years teams honor her with casket racing).
